am i right if i say that decimal odds do not have juice. so meaning if i stake $100 @2.30 odds, and i won, i would get the whole $130 winnings + $100 stake. so my total after the game would be $230. right?

only american odds are being juiced and not decimal odds. right or wrong?

Wrong. You are always juiced by a sportsbook, it is only question how much.

If there would be no juice, all the odds in decimal format would be 2.00 on the event, when spread is applied (for example: LAL @ CHI (-5,5)). If you would bet on either LAL -5,5 or on CHI +5,5, no juice would mean odds of 2.00.

Usually for those bets you get odds of 1.90 to 1.96, depends on how much the bookie takes for himself (roughly 1.90 would mean the same as -111 and 1.96 would mean roughly -105 in american format). If you had the odd of 2.30 it just meant that you have bet on the underdog, the odd for favourite was then probably about 1.65, which would mean that there was the usual -110 juice on the game.
