    Question about Sbr sportsbook ratings
Hello, I like this site but I really have to question the ratings you give sportsbooks when they pay to advertise here.

In particular, Bodog, which I have read a lot about over the years with that attention whore, Calvin Ayre and horror stories about their customer service and payouts.

We get a lot of Bodog stories in BC, Canada because they have (had?) offices in Vancouver.

Anyway, maybe the company has changed its evil ways. Who knows. But I guess what I'm posting for is some kind of rationale for the endorsement of the integrity of these sportsbooks beyond the shill.

    Thank you.

Mr. Ayre's attention whore status shouldn't realy affect his company's ratings. They were down for awhile for slow paying, but have taken steps to get their act together and most importantly, have sent Bodog Becky here to put out fires.

yeah if theres a specific question or concern with them, bodogbecky appears and handles the situation. who knows if you only get resolution like this because youre on sbr and its good publicity?? either way, youre here, shes here.

and there is concern with inflated ratings for advertising books but they are all at least legit books that pay winners - that you see at the top of the screen and that have A-B ratings. they wont make an F book an A book because they advertise. but they may just make a B- book an A+ one.

        jfdb,

It's natural to be skeptical when any informational site has ads. The forum has a history of taking down sponsors who drop below B. You can see on our newswires that Bodog was one of them during a time when they didn't plan in advance with enough processors and players saw delays. | Bodogcoverage.

Regarding Bodog themselves. They have as much integrity as anyone in the industry. They do right by players and although they are an A rating in a business sense, their treatment of players over the years is also there. They are popular to dislike on the boards because their lines go up later and they don't allow sharps to beat them up. They have a newbie player lineset. To say you are not getting what you want there is in many ways saying youre good at betting and playing the market.
