Handicapping Contest Question

I was trying to join one of the handicapping contests (Daily MLB Shootout!) but it looks like I have to have an account with BookMaker? Is that right? Is the amount you put in for the contest a wager that comes from your account?

Yes you have to have whatever account the contest you are entering calls for, in this case bookmaker, but the contest is free and no money ever comes out of your book account for these contests. Its just Bookmaker is sponsoring this particular contest and in order to participate in it, you must have an account there.
