I am not great at figuring out things, but I was referred here and am trying to find the poster who referred me but dont know how to search the members list (if you even can)

Well, one way is to go here:

http://forum.sbrforum.com/search.php?do=process

and then start typing under the search by user name box and the names of SBR members will appear.
