A reverse run line is a handicap bet where it is the dog that gives away runs (normally 1.5)
By way of example, if you wanted to bet on San Diego tonight, your options would be
Run Line (+1.5) -165
Money Line +123
Reverse Run Line (-1.5) +290

Simply put, Reverse Run Line is -1.5 on an underdog or +1.5 on a favorite. Obviously, the former pays off nice odds while the latter is latter had high premiums.
