Betting Guides for Novices?

Ok, so I have a very basic understanding of sports betting, with just a little dabbling in NFL bets, but it's been awhile. So I'm wondering if there are any good guides that can breakdown the basics and a little beyond for a newb such as myself? Does SBR have any guides for users? Thanks!

Study line movement and price action.
Focus on value bets.

For example,

X is playing against Y,

Pinnacle/Betfair has Over 9½ -105.
If can find Over 9½ +110 (or better) somewhere else, you win over long haul. That's it. Sports betting is all about shopping. Handicapping is BS. Maybe you could beat computers and algorythm in 90's or early 2000's but not at 2024.

Remember, even if you pick value bets, still you're not immune against losing streaks. They will happen. Stick with a strict money management strategy.
