      Hi Profits Hunter,

      Welcome to SBR.

The SBR forum consists sub-forum sports page and you can find basketball topics under NBA or NCAAB forum. But you are always free to post under Players Talk where the main forum topic is posted.

Feel free to explore and let usknow if you need any assistance.

          Welcome TO SBR Hunter!!

Genie is right, just explore around.

There are a lot sites for information on basketball.

Not sure how stat intensive you are trying to get, and you might find basketball stats at the same place you get some of your football stats.

Here is a well known site that seems to have developed some good research tools...

Checkout the statistics, scores & history of every team & NBA and WNBA players and more on Basketball-Reference.com

Places like ESPN and NBA.com will have stats too.

Remember, it's not the stats or info, but how you use it that matters.

          Good Luck.

At first, you should find a reliable bookie, lurk feedback.

Do you know anything about basketball? It seems probably not.

So if you want to bet a new sport, you start doing a deep dive. You watch all the scores. You might want to start watching games. After watching scores for long enough, you will start to think you know something and begin to have opinions. At this point, you will probably be as smart as you are going to get. So start betting.

                      hey mate
no i dont know anything about baskeball, not even the teams of NBA since i live in Europe
and i have been betting only in football matches

what tempted me to get involved to basketball games is the appealing odds in live games for the turn overs at scores

what i need mostly for my begging is

1)a stats site to give me to understand who is the favorite and who is the underdog in a certain match
2)how do i pick my picks from this site, should i take note the bet points of the members?

Well then. You have your work cut out for you. You can get NBA stats anywhere like ESPN. This is one of those problems where if you have to ask the question, you aren't going to find the answer.

No. Points do not mean too much in regards to posters. You just have to judge the comment but this is no place for expertise.
