Betfair, Bet365 - high stakes and limitations??

    Hi

As a newbie to online sportsbetting, I´m wondering whether Betfair sportsbook (not t
    he exchange!) and
Bet365 accept fairly high bets, 700-800EUR/game, in the long run or will ultimately limit me??

    In
addition, what other bookies (except Pinnacle) would you recommend
that don´t limit and accept high stakes? Could ps3838.com be one of them perhaps?

    Thanks!

      Hi there,

You won't be limited as long as you're not pounding the bookie consistently. That bet size seems fine as long as you're betting in a market that has a lot of liquidity, i.e. Premier League, NFL, etc.
I don't know anything about ps3838.com. Betfair should be fine. SBObet are an asian bookie which accept large bets on certain markets but they're beginning to limit their clients staking unfortunately.

        betfair = no

bet365 = yes.... there are two types of limitstions either limit u to $5.00 bets or secondly every bet will have to be referred to trader.

never heard of the last one you mentioned.

Betfair sportsbook limits too because it's easy to beat.

Betfair limited me after approximately 5 bets.
Bet365 limited me slower, but both limit, you can be 100% certain.

There are no 'soft books' [which I presume you are looking for] that will take high stakes and not limit you quickly.

btw AFAIK ps3838 is pretty much same in terms of selection and odds as pinnacle.

You clearly haven't bet with Betfair it's an exchange it doesn't limit, the only limits are the liquidity available

He would have been talking about the fixed odds sportsbook part of their operation, not the exchange.

It may not be available in your country.

The Betfair sportsbook (not the exchange) has terrible odds though (like 8% vig I think??) so no real loss getting limited there. Surely you must have better options.

1)It looks like Bet365 does it. Betfair Sportsbook does it too.

                        2) Betfair Exchange doesn´t limit you, but after x amount you are presented with Premium Charges,

2a) Premium Charges have some tricky rules, but in a simple way, it cuts your profit by a percentage. So if you are at y level, you will get 20 % premium charges. Another level is more and so on...

2b) It looks like some agents/ brokers have less limitations, but i don´t know if it´s just users that don´t make a lot of money. In general, premium charge will be there. (using exchanges).

2c) At some point there was talks about some big whales were getting low premium charges, because they would give a lot of liquidity to the exchange, but i don´t know how it is now.

                        3) Pinnacle doesn´t limit you, but their odds are incredibly accurate. Live Betting they defend themselves with big "spreads", so when they are in doubt, implied probability drops significantly.

                        4) Betting as a punter. it looks like limits change from broker to broker.

Bet 365 is not a good book at all if you are a winning punter. They are a great book for recreational bettors who break even or lose in the long run but if you are a winner they will limit you then basically kick you out. However, they won't steal your money, they will let you take all your winnings and deposit. This is a good read on books like this.

Both are bad for that kind of stakes
                            Betfair the worst
