    Bankroll management

Looking for opinions. Been betting for awhile have had some success, looking to really start building a roll, I'm a firm believer in quality over quantity, I rarely bet more then one game a day, I'm starting with $1000. And im leaning towards betting 5% per game, has anybody else took this approach? Picking 1 game per day and betting a little more on it. Rather the then the typical 1-3% rule.

Well, if your starting bankroll is 1,000$ then %5 is acceptable since you're planning to pick 1 game per day.

the answer depends on what you are betting on, if you are at -105 avg sure 5% is ok but if your avg line is +300 I would stick to 1% and if your line is -300 I would go 5-7%

I bet on nhl and mlb as well as football. My money line bets are usually between +130 and -130 give or take.

if you truly have an edge do 2% and ride the wave, if you dont have an edge do 5-10% and hope you get lucky!
