dumb noob question, how come, some sites you get what you bet+ what you win.. others

basically im new and signed up for 2 sportsbooks, the first being pinnacle, its been like 3 days and i won around 100 dollars or so, but.

it seems a lot easier with pinnacle, if i bet 20, to win 40, i'll win all 60 back if i end up winning. with this bet365, i'll bet around 20, to win like 25, and if i win, i only win the 25

why are some like this? if it was like pinnacle, i'd win what i bet back + the 25, so i'd win 45.
