Total Goals VS Goal Line Help
    Hi all
I get confusing on these kind of bet @ Bet365. Any pro can help to clarify what's the difference between them ?
I don't mention about split betting at Goal line of quarter like x.25 or x.75.
What makes me confused is bookie posts different odds on the same level. Look at the image for illustration

It's non sense for different odds at the same kind of betting, the same level, the same rule ? It apparently seems that bettors shall place on Goal line to get higher odds ? OR might I lost somewhere ?

    Many thanks for your explanation

I remember seeing a thread about this before. They're the exact same thing but the lower price of the Total Goals is due to the market. More casual bettors normally would only take a side or a total over/under and wouldn't know what a Goal Line is. Because more money is going into the Total Goals market, that price is lower.

      sometime you see X TEAM ML @ 1.90 and X TEAM -0.5 @1.95

basically they are the same thing ,you just take the higher odd

Thanks for your explanation. However, as far as I know, the more money is going in, the happier the sportsbook is as long as they keep in balance. The overall price is not lower, it's even higher (eventually bookie's margin/juice decreases) to attract more flow in.

Only does the price/odd ratio change when bookie's balance sheet is unbalanced. (and the prices move in opposite direction)

In the cited case, they are actually the same market with different name: one with lower margin (goal line) & the other with higher margin (total goals) ??

I've seen your case several times. It's quite clear because they are different markets. In my example, they are actually the same market with different name
