At the first TV timeout Kentucky was -5.

    Now Baylor is +12.

Why not bet both sides at (-110)?

You open up a huge middle opportunity and at worst case scenario you only lose a little juice. If your units are $100, you're basically risking $10 to win $200 because worse case scenario you go 1-1 with the bets.

It seems like the odds of the the game falling between those numbers is pretty good considering you're getting 20/1.

    THoughts?

Yeah you can get some incredible lines the other day nc state was +15 down 6 with 4 minutes left, was able to hedge out of a rather large position on Kansas ml super cheap and guarantee a good payday.

I do that w/ MLs all the time. Take a big dog for a small amount on the ML and as soon as they go on a run hammer the favorite. Put 1k on Kentucky -210 just a few minutes ago.

You had no guarantee that Kentucky would do well after you bet them.

Yes, if Kentucky does well you have an easy advantage, but if they don't, you can't try for a middle.

this is like betting a team before the game, and if they're doing well at the half, you can bet the other side if you want. Or beating the line move and then buying it back.

It's a gamble like everything else.
