St Louis/Michigan St to go OVER 125

Why is this number so low? Some kind of weird trap?

no idea why you think this is all that low or "trappy"? slu plays at a snails pace, both teams defend well, gonna be a low possession gm so gonna need lots of fouls or really good shooting to get over this number imo..few guys i respect that prob better with totals than me like the over so you may be right but 61-57 type gm would not surprise me at all... just playing Slu+7.5 myself...bol

Michigan averages 72 ppg and st L averages 69 add those together and get 141 points take away -15 just 'because' and your still above the total 125. Gift or Trap?

ive never capped a gm based off what teams avg ppg are so i really cant help you there..i could always tell you slu gives up 57 ppg and msu 59 ppg which is 116 by my math, then i could say that in tourney gms defense tends to win out and both are very strong in that area and are stylistically similar so i would expect a slower than normal pace...but as i said totals are not exactly my strong suit so maybe im way off, hopefully not cause the higher scoring it is the better chance i think my slu bet goes down in flames...

I reckon it's a good play, Michigan State just dominated the pace against Long Island. Quality shooting, sharing the ball and dominating the boards, unders never stood a chance.

If Saint Louis want to win this game, it'll be a slugfest though.

in these lower scoring 1st halves, taking the 2nd half over is usually a good play isn't it? St Louis will come out firing all the way to the end with more confidence, and msu will stay paced

                  thoughts?

In my opinion its all a sign of averages. If you shoot 20% in the first half of a game and your yearly avg is somewhere around 40%, you will even out in the second half. Sounds idiotic but unless your butler in a championship game, u will shoot a higher percentage (most likely) in the 2nd half. Plus fouling and chances of OT

shooting % holds more value to me plus look at fouls and how well they shoot from the stripe

congrats bro...but i would suggest a new method for figuring totals in the future as simply looking at teams avg ppg is not gonna get you to far...im happy slu covered, happy you guys cashed as well...congrats..
