Easy over...fast pace as I expected. Its not a good sign for my Hoosiers though to be shooting 70% and still be tied.

VCU covers the 1st half +3

but underdogs have been covering like crazy in the first half, with the favorite covering the 2nd half far more often than not in the tournaments. I`m pulling for VCU here BOL

so you are going indy 2nd half or what.. Im not watching it I just tailed a guy in Nropps thread over at covers who said take VCU in the 1st half as their MO is starting strong in games

Honestly I'm not touching 2nd half. I still like my chances with VCU but if I hadn't made those plays and was watching I wouldn't make a play now. VCU's defense seems to flounder and Indiana is shooting lights out. Luckily for VCU they can shoot too. If anything maybe an over the total play depending on the #

under 77 2nd half .. 19 point swing on the over first half total means 2H under is generally the play.. wins far more often than not. Sticking 2 units on it

all it takes is one team to go cold for 4 or 5 minutes. And thats certainly possible

Only thing that was slowing these teams down was turnovers. Surely they will make some adjustments for the 2nd half. It's not like they aren't trying to play defense. They are but it just isn't working.

It will slow down 2nd half guaranteed. Indiana can't burn Hulls out with running-n-gunning that much 2nd half because they really don't have another point guard.

Congrats VCU players & prob ML too. I'm going to win Over easily but should've known the parlay w/VCU was easy too. IU has struggled w/turnovers and 3 pt defense all year. Smart is outcoaching Crean as well....Indiana should be trying some zone with the way they're getting beat on pick-n-rolls and kickouts for 3.

they will need to score exactly 51 points over the final 8 minutes for it to go over the 2nd half total (27 points scored in the first 12 minutes of the 2nd half)

Another discrepancy to look for is the Bulls-Sixers 2nd half. The game total is 185 and they only scored 34 points in the 1st quarter. When you have such a low scoring 1st Q compared to the game total, the 2nd half over is generally the play

Indiana losing Verdell Jones in the Big Ten tournament really hurts here because that leaves Indiana with only 1 real distributor and Smart jumped all over that with constant double teams to wear the little guy out.
