Vanderbilt is playing some real good basketball lately. They have guys that can really shoot from 3 and their inside presence is fantastic. They have traditionally sucked in the tourney but this may be their year. I have them in the final 4 in my bracket.

Vandy and Wiscy both rely on the 3 ball for their offense. Wiscy guards the 3 much better but Vandy shoots it much better. Game comes down to rebounding IMO. Wisconsin will limit Vandy's second chance points. I think Ezeli will have a tough time closing out on Berggren when he is in the game. Another plus for Wisconsin is that they handle the basketball much better than Vandy. Vanderbilt will have to shoot a high percentage to win this game because I think Wisconsin will get a lot of open 3 point looks because the defense just isn't that good.

Wisconsin's offense is peaking at the perfect time. Their defense is the best in the country at defending vs da threes.
Vandy is cooked stylistically. Wisco has their best shot for a deep run this year.

Didn't Vandy beat Kentucky this year? They are a great team and should ho far in this tournament. They are not scared of wisconsin at all after beating UK.

exactly. i'm sure that Memphis wasn't scared of SLU last night, but that has nothing to do with SLU completely taking Memphis out of their game. that's Bo Ryan's specialty. Vandy is a jump-shooting team. count the number of times that Wisconsin players get into the legs of Vandy players while they're going up and bother the jump shot.

if it had been one of the regular season meetings, perhaps, but UK didn't show up for the SEC tourney. Wisconsin should be able to hinder what Vandy wants to do offensively more than vice versa, but either way, it likely comes down to which team shoots better from distance. i think that i'm passing on sides and going with over here (see a lot of parallels between this game and Indiana/Wisconsin in Big Ten tourney, Harvard/Vandy, both of which soared over). i have Badgers by two in a game that makes it to around 130. BOL with your Vandy play, hope it hits.

This is the problem of gambling. Sports can not be computed using mathematical logic. Just because team A beats team B and team B beats team C, does not mean that team A will beat team C. Just because team A looked good last week does not mean they will look good this week. Just because team B has a better win on their resume than team C doesn't mean team B is the better team.

Plus even if team B is better than team C, the better team does not always win...

Foul on Jordan Taylor is as bad as it gets.
