Why is Murrey State favored vs Csu??

Consider these numbers before you burn your money on the Rams:

Overall Record: 20-11
Home Record: 14-1
Away Record: 3-9
Neutral Record: 3-1

Away from Fort Collins, they beat the following teams: SMU, UTEP, Jacksonville St., Northern Colorado, Air Force and TCU.

They cannot be trusted. Murray St. is favored for that simple reason. Racers should win and cover. We'll see.

Murray State winning @ Memphis and vs Saint Mary's are stronger victories than anything CSU has.

Why is it that teams that play in Colorado has such porous road records?

murray state is a dangerous team in my mind. they are the higher seed and are rightfully so the slight fave. smack csu if you feel so good about them. bitchslap them fools.

but murray state did beat memphis on the road and crushed st mary's in a very anticipated bracket buster game. these teams are better than csu. i agree their schedule hasn't been tough but it's not like they've played absolutely no one. they did lose one game by 4 points to tennessee state, who they shouldn't have lost to. but of all the teams who play "no one", which if you ask the forum is just about everyone, only losing once is pretty good.

CSU

They won one game away from home in conference vs Air Force who came in to the game losing 10 of last 12. They also sport road wins at UTEP and No Colo. There is no way they should even be playing, while it might be cool to say on TV that the MWC is strong..it really isn't. And these guys would be the last team I'd put any faith in.

At home CSU can be a beast, they were beastly against SDSU, whole team was on fire, played very inspired, because they were at home and the opponent. Murray St. when looked at they are ok, but they are small, rely on alot of jump shots and beat teams in that league by outhustling them. Theyll have problems with length. When they beat St. Mary's homecourt had the most to do with it, St. Mary's just wasnt as inspired while Murray St. was, also St. Mary's pg was hobbling.

Team on the boards and dangerous from deep. The location is in no ones favor here. Memphis is overrated as you have seen this year. Csu ML period. Will be close but shut down one shooter on Murrey State and they are done.

Side note. If chance standback is healthy, unlv could cause big problems for Baylor. Colorado and Baylor love to run which is Unlv's strong point.

Ok here's how I see it - Murry state playing in louisville is going be a home atmosphere for them. SOS is a little week but Colorado state played a few good teams and got waxed. They had a few common opponents like souther miss MS beat them by 9 CS lost by 21. Most of CS loses came on the road but this is kind of a road game long travel and MS very close to home.

its a good situational spot for murray st and a bad one for colorado st IMO. murray with some home court advantage col st east for an early start. col st also a bit shaky away from fort collins. im not debating the actual strength of these teams, i dont think much separates them TBH.

I don't understand how anyone can say that Murray State is aweful, that is jut non-sense. All they did was win. If you mean they played in an aweful conference and that their strength of schedule was aweful, fine that is legitimate, but regardless of what conference or what strength of schedule a team has having only one loss is impressive.

Personally I hope they go far in the tourney and I expect them to come out swining against CSU and to cover the 4 points.

murray took out vandy 2 yrs ago in NCAA with many of the core players still on the team, good reason why they are 30-1 overall. on neutral floor would have to give murray an edge based on experience.
