Detroit was well below .500 half way through the season. When they lost to teams like Akron & Mississippi St. they actually lost by more than 15.

Youngstown St. (TWICE)
CLeveland ST. (TWICE)
However, these were all still bad losses.
As far as I can tell Detroit has only played 2 Tournament Teams this year & lost to both of them by 6 & 8.

Detroit is the play, everyone knows who tyshawn taylor and thomas robinson are but how many of you know ray mccallum? hes a hidden talent and they have several other solid players on this team for example chase simon and a real solid big man in eli holman.
and jay all that you just mentioned above that stuff you can look into but you shouldnt look into it too much because this is the march madness were talking about here at Detroit is playing at its peak right now beating Valpo to get here.
one last thing i also think kansas is OVERRATED this line should be around 12Comment -

Do your research guy. They were without their Senior future NBA forward Eli Holman for the most of their non-conference schedule. He comes bback in early December and they go 18-5 the rest of the way. And no, they didn't lose to Mississippi State by 15, wtf are you talking about? They lost by 5.
They have 2 future NBA players on their roster. How many other 15 seeds can you say that about? Hell Kansas has the same number of future pros. I have a hard time seeing this game as 15+ but good luck buddy.Comment -

^^im not one of those guys that takes dogs simply because theyre dogs. Not my style. I simply believe that detroits got too much talent on their team to be be a 15 point underdog, too many talented bigs and a skilled and hungry point guard in mckellum, and i like their defense. Theyve improved as a TEAM throughout the course of the season. Will be a much closer game than people think. detroit +15Comment
