Have people lost their damn minds? Every person I hear is talking about if Memphis can hang with MSU. St Louis will take Memphis out BEHIND THE WOODSHED. They'll slow the game down and expose Memphis and the shitty conference they play in. St Louis getting points is an absolute joke

#3Plus they just lost to a bad Xavier team that has no business being in the tourney.
St. Louis is a decent team at home.
Memphis is hot 11 of 12 and is the play in this game.Comment -

#4They handled Washington earlier in the year in a huge fashion. Washington and Memphis are pretty similar, roll the basketball out and hope you have enough talent to win. I would say SLU lost to RI because they didn't show up, not because of anything elseOriginally posted by FriscoSLU lost to a 5 win Rhode Island team a few weeks ago bc they couldn't handle their guards.Comment -

Xavier was playing for their lives, St Louis was comfortably in the tournament. Memphis plays in an AWFUL conference, of course they look "HOT"Comment -

#6Go look at Memphis and Slu's out of conf schedules. Memphis played some really good teams to close games and won a few of them while Slu played bottom feeders in the power conferences. Have a feeling we are going to agree to disagree on this but SLU isn't the same team outside of St. LouisComment -

#8Their best OOC win was against Tennessee without Stokes who couldn't even make the tournamentMemphis lost by nearly double digits to Louisville and also lost to Murray State. #19Disagree strongly.....Memphis has final four talent, pre-season top ten, fully healthy and very very dangerous. Michigan St won't blow anyone out in this tourny, (besides the opening round), but could easily get beat by an athletic Memphis team. Buyer beware!Originally posted by TPowellMsu would beat memphis by double digits easy palComment -

#21Not sure any of us can learn from college kids, let alone the NBA. Time will tell. Guess you have UL in the Final Four ? I see 5 of the 7 teams in their region they can get beat by. That's garbage! Had Cincy beat them, i could see UL being a 5 seed and being in an easier region.Originally posted by TPowellGot a lot to learn kid. Games are won by gritty basketball in march. #30This is a worthless arguement. If you believe this, explain how teams like Memphis, George Mason, Butler and VCU have reached the Final Four. #32they have nowhere near final 4 talent and get outcoached against any good team they play... both black and carmouche have injuries and the loss of antonio b. a few weeks ago really hurts the depth...they are my home team, so its easier for me to be more updated, but cmon buddy, do a little research first...Originally posted by CTOWNsCAPPINDisagree strongly.....Memphis has final four talent, pre-season top ten, fully healthy and very very dangerous. that being said, memphis is playing the best ball of the season and will dictate pace here...where other teams slowly started to run out of gas, even a banged up memphis got stronger at seasons end...and they are making free throws for a change and thats huge for them...a lot of heavy action expected to be on memphis...gl boyzComment -

#33Sorry but Memphis was loaded when they were making deep runs, this team is far from those. George Mason had a great coach, as well as Butler. VCU was lights out from outside every game basically and they play a difficult style of basketball.Originally posted by convickThis is a worthless arguement.
