Totally agree with NC State and VCU. New Mexico state might play Indiana pretty tough, but ultimately I see Indiana being the most dangerous team in that part of the bracket-I see them making a deep run in this tourney. I have st Mary's being upset as well, but I think fl state rolls. Not sure how I feel about duke yet, I think they're definitely vulnerable and will lose in one of the early rounds, just not sure it will be to Lehigh.

Yes I feel like they will play wisky close, I'll probably have Montana in an upset in few of my brackets.

Indiana should get in to second round....think NCST will be favored by 3.5 vs SDSU, the dogs.....

(10) Xavier beats (7) Notre Dame

(10) Purdue beats (7) St. Mary's

(9) Alabama beats (8) Creighton

(10) WVU beats (7) Gonzaga

These are not upsets per se, but right now I think these teams will win and should cover if the numbers are low-ish

Creighton beats Alabama handily.
SD State beats NC State.
St Marys beats Purdue going away.
Southern Miss beats Kansas St.
Harvard covers and upsets Vanderbilt.
Xavier covers and beats Notre Dame with back to back 1st round exits for Bray.

I also think Gonzaga will beat WVU, but Jones is a star, and it is hard to bet against dudes like him in the tournament.

That is the idea... honestly, with recruits like Derrick Rose and Anthony Davis, they aren't going to go to a program like Illinois without a scum bag like Calipari or a black guy they can relate to there. Shaka could turn Illinois into a top 10 program again if he recruits Chicago well, so it is just a question of how high Shaka Smart's motivation is.
