That was a great win against Louisville, 11 wins in the Big East, C'mon that would be good for a tourny berth in previous years.
I'm pretty sure this will give them entrance.

Best team no one is talking about. Stan Heath really has done a nice job. This team took Syracuse to the wire at home a week ago.

Well said bro, USF defense is so godamn underrated, they held Syracuse, and now Louisville to almost 20 points less than their avg.

Add cincy to that list too. I'm sure there are others, their defense is great. Gilcrest (spelling) is a great player.

I think they are still fighting to get in. This was their first win of any value. They have the #s with RPI, Strength of Schedule, but don't have that WOW factor with anything else. I think if they beat West Virginia in their finale and then win one in the Big East - they're in. If they lose to WV, they might need to win a couple to get in still.
I know Lunardi had them in before tonight, still seems close though.

I understand your argument, eagles, but they also beat Cinci which boosted their value after their great win over Marquette earlier.
with that said, this is why I love college BB and March in general, some great, great games to come .

They definitely don't WOW with their slow half court offense and these slow scoring defensive games.
But, as I've noticed they FORCE teams to play their style of basketball which I respect. They answered Louisville everytime they scored, rebounded extremely well, and just played a typical USF style BB game.

I beg the NCAA not to put in more than 68 teams.... dont water it down... it actually makes these discussions interesting

I agree take out my team San Diego State, and put in USF. They have more quality wins anyway, MWC has been shit this year, one week you're #13, the next you're #25. But I guess with that said that is the RPI and AP polls: never accurate.

Ya USF is actually 12-5 in the Big East, which should be a solid enough record, despite some downright ugly losses on their schedule. They've definitely turned it on.
