George Mason +7.5 @ VCU.
Huge Rivalry game here and I expect this game to go down to the wire like the last one. I expect a low scoring game in the mid 50's - low 60's and 7.5 points is just too many to pass up here. I live in Richmond and these schools are pretty close so there should be a good mix of fans for both teams, as Mason fans travel well. VCU should be motivated with Mason stealing the last game late with a buzzer beater 3 that actually won for me. If anyone watched the Northern Iowa game, N. Iowa was right in that game until the last few minutes, then they had to start fouling and hence the 9 point win by VCU. The score doesn't reflect how close that game was and I think the oddsmakers are taking that into consideration as well as Mason's slim margins of victory against sub par competition as of late. I'm not calling this a lock, but I'm definitely taking Mason in this spot and expect them to show up and keep this one within 2 possessions and maybe even pull the upset.
