I smell a trap here. Marquette has beat up on the bottom feeders of the Big East on the Road but lost to the better teams. Not that WVU is good, but they have to be pissed and embarrased after that notre dame game. Friday night in Morgantown, trying to get to 8-8 in conference play, I'm leaning towards WVU. Knowing the public will hammer marquette, I'll wait and see if the line moves so maybe i can take a +110 or +120 ML. BOL

Ayo, good looks on the stats. You may see this game like L'ville traveling to Cincy and getting beat. But I think its more like Duke traveling to Florida State and winning. Very similar games here.

Its not being sharp, necessarily, Marquette isnt that much rated higher than them, besides, its a Friday night game on the road. Hate playing WV though, but that line tells me they are expecting it to move in Marquette's favor.

Respectively disagree on your duke/fla st comparison. Significantly different circumstances. Duke and FSU was a battle for first place in the ACC, on top of that sprinkle some revenge. Marquette 2nd in conference and WVU 10th and if you were going to factor in revenge it'd be in favor of WVU.

Understood. I wasn't really going too deep into the comparison. Was just scratching the surface with the small spreads and the teams playing away. But I agree with you in that aspect, WVU desperately needs this win. We will see how they rally after getting smoked against ND. I take it if you were to play this game your on WVU.
