This season Duke hasn't covered more than 2 games in a row, and has only done that 3 times. Duke covered their last game, so the trend is for them to not cover tonight.

As a 10 pt underdog at Duke just a month ago, FL ST handed Duke a big L SU.

Duke as 10.5 fave vs NC ST 2 games ago, didn't cover only winning by 5.

FL ST as a 1.5 pt underdog at NC ST last game won SU by 14.

So Duke at home vs NC ST only wins by 5, and FL ST on the road at NC ST wins by 14, tells me that the 'Noles may be back on track despite the reverse if you look at what these 2 teams did against BC.

Duke losing at home as a 12 pt fave to another FL team (UM), tells me that Duke is not as strong as we think.

FL ST is Home where home court advanatage is so huge.

FL ST's defense (as far as total points allowed per gm avg) is much tighter's than Duke's 60.8 to 68.6

So if the 'Noles whipped Duke at Duke, how can they be underdogs at home? Is it that a majority of folks like yourself always favor Duke no matter what, so the Book has made the line accordingly even though my brain says that Duke should be the underdog tonight? Is it the old you can't beat a good coach like Coach K twice in a row in the same season? Is it the revenge factor for Duke that will have them running on all cylinders tonight?

I'll give you that a game like this is always a toss-up, so either could easily win, so may not be a game to count on. Perhaps will consider the Under instead, as the trend has the last 5 games of Duke at FL ST going Under, and this should be a tough battle that both teams should play their asses off, as both want to make a statement win tonight. Let's digest all that for a bit.

With Chandler, Stoud, Anthony and Lin, the Knicks have game now. 'Melo and Stoud both played less than 28 mins last night. J.R., Novak & Davis make for a strong bench. Something tells me that the Knicks aren't getting blown out in this one tonight, and others must concur as the line dropped overnight from -10 to -9.

Less than a month ago, the Knicks covered in Miami as a 12 pt dog, and in that game Lin, 'Melo and Davis did not play. All the Heat starters (except James at +4) were a minus, and Wade played over 32 mins, Bosh over 34 Mins, and James over 40 mins in that game. It was the Heat bench that were all major pluses. Whole different ball game tonight.

You know how these TNT games usually come down to the wire, making it exciting for TV and the fans.

The refs for tonight: Heat have covered only 3 of the last 10 games with Crawford, Heat have only covered 2 of their last 10 with Jones, and Heat only covered 2 of the last 7 with Tiven. Should be easy for the refs to favor the Knicks in this one, as the Knicks popularity helps the League, and you know make it exciting for TV and the fans. Plus, it's so easy to be anti-James-Wade-Bosh. As a 5-9.5 fave, the home team has covered with these refs respectively 4-2, 4-4 & 3-6.

Let's digest all that for a bit.
