We are upset and bruising.
Haven't had a drink in weeks, and tonight I had a few because it was that disappointing. We wanted this badly and we knew the last 3 were cake walks before the MWC tourney.
We're upset knowing that we will struggle to get an advantage in the MWC tourney knowing that the showgirls get the homecourt, every year.
Kicked out of bars, friendships wounded, it was that kind of bad shit in our little part of the country.

I was just confused as to why anyone would lay a wager on a game then say, "I don't think it matters what has happened to that team in the past week or months?"
