Add one more to the board: (4*) Yale -4.5/Columbia. Columbia is awful in conference and a pedestrian 5-7 on the road (only 2 of which wins have come against teams with more than 10 wins) while Yale boasts a 9-1 home record losing only to the likes of Harvard while they were ranked 23rd in the country. In 8 out of those 9 home wins (we'll disregard the 64-point smashing Yale laid on Lyndon State, who I've never heard of), the bulldogs have averaged an 11-point victory margin. Yale is the superior team, has much better athletes and should be able to take care of business. The only way I see Columbia making it close is if they get HOT from 3.

I mean this isn't the first game he has missed. Calhoun has been out since Feb. 3rd. That being said they have had plenty of time adjusting to the coaching changes. Now this is somewhat has an effect, but don't think the books didn't consider that when setting the line.
