Marquette has had no problems beating teams which the Huskies lost handily to.
Marquette's only "doubtful", F Davante Gardner, has been sufficiently filled-in for
in the last 4 games, in which they won 3 of 4 with no negative impact on scoring.
UConn has lost 6 of their last 8 games.
With 5 games remaining, it's too soon for Marquette to rest starters, still in contention
for 1st in Big East, for the next couple games at least.
There is not much impressive on UConn's resume this year. People may be looking at
the February 4th home win against Seton Hall, but there are issues with it.
such as:
1. Seton Hall top scorer F Herb Pope did not play.
2. Seton Hall coach was called for 2 techs before being ejected from the game
"I don't mind getting blown out," Willard said after the game. "I do have an issue when the refs. Enjoy the blowout."
