    Straight betting??
I'm new to sports betting, so forgive my question I'm about to ask.

When doing straight betting, so you bet $110 to $100, if you get the game correct, wouldn't you be out the $10? I do not understand this, and would like some clarification.

    Thanks.

you only lose the juice if you lose the wager. so, on a -110 play, if you place 110 to win 100, you get 100 if you win and lose 110 if you lose.

        you win, you get 110+100.
        you lose, you get 0.

You can also think of juice this way:

You bet $100 to win $100, but you pay 10% extra if you lose on (-110). For -120 you pay 20%, etc etc
