I live in vegas and go to the casinos to make bets almost daily. Do you guys use 5dimes and bet online? If so, the odds the same or lines etc? Worth trying? You enjoy online betting or have any issues with it in the past? Thanks

Ditto on bullets thoughts! 5dimes has the most lines and options by far. Bet islands is easier to work with and the free 1/2 point can be very helpful but they have later lines and fewer options. It's best to be at both.Comment -
I used Bodog now know as Bovada for 8 years or so, and here is what I like
1. free payouts
2. ease of deposits for US players
3. their website is extremely user friendly
4. Their lines are generally better for underdogs
5. lots of prop and obscure betting opportunities
6. I've always been paid
What I absolutely HATE
1. the late lines (don't expect to be able to bet on anything before noon)
2. you can only buy a 1/2pt on bets that are already at a 1/2pt (ex. +4.5 -6.5 +14.5) anything line as "whole" number you're screwed (ex. -3 +6 -15) or if you want to but more than a 1/2pt you're screwed (they'll only let you buy a 1/2pt)
3. When you do but a point, expect to pay 15cents in juice for that 1/2 point
4. the lack of lines, most games they won't even put up the moneylines for
5. they lines are generally worse if you bet favorites
6. They now charge a 4.9% for depositing, which sucks for many US players as its the easiest way to depositComment -
really why take a chance when you don't have to? i've had several payout problems from several different online books they all have them at one point or another for all kinds of reasons and it is about as frustrating as it gets.
don't some vegas books have phone accounts? i know they did way back but that was before online betting took off so maybe look into that. in the players talk thread yesterday 5dimes came up a lot and it was never positive so maybe do some more research if you are thinking about trying them out.Comment -
