He is doing a 2 team teaser and it looks like he bought 5 pts. So the -2.5 was the orginal line on the game if he would have bet it alone. But he needs both Cin and Creighton to win by those bolded numbers to win the bet.

I think you making it a little more complicated than it is. Both bets have to win like in a parlay but you "tease" the line by buying points. Thus increasing the odds in your favor but putting up a little more money to do so and you won't win as much as a staright parlay. Hope that helps. I got to go watch the games.
