Washington at home against Cal. It's not easy having to go on the road and play at Washington. As usual, the Huskies have talent but are inconsistent. Wilcox will be out but Wroten and Ross can carry the load. This should be an exciting game to watch but I like Washington here in their own gym.

Hold on bro. Have you followed some of their home games this year? They lost to South Dakota St, barely beat Seattle U, and were losing to Washington St for more than half the game before going on a huge run to win. They are good at home but not a sure lock. I can't stand the UW. A bunch of super talented basketball players that somehow play below their ability. They play an ugly style of basketball and can't defend. With that being said......I believe at home they are a different beast. Yes, they lost to South Dakota St by 20 and struggled against Seattle U and WSU, but they tend to play to the level of their opponents. I think getting them at pick-em at home is worth a medium size bet.Comment -

I would normally make the argument that tie goes to the better defensive team, but when Cal's not on their home court, they play like a junior high squad.
Washington's 10-1 at home (granted the one loss was horrific) and they beat Cal by 32 here last year (different teams, I know), yet they're a PK here. Seems like Vegas is begging you to take the Huskies, but that's just me.Comment -
If i HAD to choose, id take Cal... they take care of the ball, play much better defense, they distribute the ball well and hit Ft's @74%...

its a tough call here....but im always going with the home team in situations like this...this time of year....plus washington is capable of being very explosive....even without wilcox......gut feeling...but i think washington gets rolling with a w here.....cal was horrible last time out at home against a tough colorado team...guittierez shot like 2-16 from the field......i was on the buffs big and they had a chance outrightComment -

It's the same story every year. Washington turns it on at the end of the season and makes enough of a run to barely squeak into the tournament as a double digit seed, and wins a few games in the tournament on talent alone.
