Can someone explain to me why Indiana is +13 at Ohio State????

Another extremely strange line following the George Mason/JMU line yesterday.

Is there something I'm missing here? I figured Ohio State would be favored by 6-8 here. This line seems way off, my jaw literally dropped.

oddsmakers are stubborn and they stick to their guns...OHio st -5 at indy now favored by 13 at home looks about right...maybe a little inflated for Ohio St but I think Ohio St blasts Indy big time in a revenge game. 20 pt margin at least.

In the first game OSU played without their best players for approx 1/2 the game due to foul trouble. Buford and Thomas never really got into the game mentally. The game was poorly officiated all around but IU benefitted most (obviously being at home). All that being said, the game was still there for OSU to win. It will be much different in Columbus.

Indiana got lucky and pulled the upset. It happens.

Even with Ohio State having players in foul trouble, playing like shit, and missing free throws down the stretch, it still took an Indiana three point shot at the buzzer for them to win.

You have a valid point. The line is inflated but as we've seen there have been some horrific letdowns from game to game. Gun to head Ind +.
