GAME #1 DREXEL VS N. IOWA
With the disappointment of not making the big dance drexel came out and pounded ucf... on other hand a team that was excited to keep playing n iowa sneaked out a win against a st joes team that easily beat drexel( was early in season where drexel stuggled to a 2-4 start before ripping thru rest of regular season dropping only 2 more games) neither team relies on any certain player to score but i give edge to drexel on offense with 4 players scoring in dbl digits.... boards also favor drexel... the biggest factor should be home court for the dragons where they are holding teams to 55ppg under 40 fg%... look for drexel to hold serve at home winning by a decisive margin

GAME #2 G'TOWN VS N.C.STATE
classic offense vs defense matchup... the size of the hoyas should be trouble for state... hollis thompson moving out to the perimeter should open up the middle and not allow state to double down on the blocks against a much bigger sims down low but if they do look for sims a great passer to kick out and if thompson who has struggled of late gets back to form there will be one less team from n.c. in the tourny....states best chance to win is if they can hit the outside shot which is no easy task against a hoyas team that hold its opponent 38% from the floor and 27% from 3pt land... with there size and zone play they are just to tough to shoot over ... foul trouble will cripple a short benched state team

GAME #3 ST LOUIS VS MSU
This should be a great match-up of two similar styles of play. with defense being the key shooting a good % from the field is important giving a slight advantage to msu who have been stroking it much better as of lastely.... also the bilikens need to protect the ball much better than there opening round game with memphis....i like st louis gaurd play with mitchel and if he can shoot well from the perimeter i see this being a much closer game than most expect... bilikens have enough capable bodies to match up and disturb green

GAME #4 UPSTATE VS ODU
This game will be tougher with limited info on upstate but looking at numbers this should be a potent offense with limited defense against a middle of the road monarchs team who doesnt excell in either catagory but is efficient ... i look for torrey graig to have a big game for the spartans.. the spartans will be at a disadvantage on the boards but if they can control the turnovers and shoot at a good % from the field they should do ok... they have no suprise factor coming in after last game

PLAY: OVER 132 its a much similar match up as upstate last game but i dont see them holding odu to 22 in first half... i think it should be about 146 ... padding about 10+ pts from ft line in a close game late even though i hate the way both teams are bad from stripe

well g'town started game exactly like i thought spreading it out and utilizing its size but got away from it in last 5 mins of half giving up the lead and giving nc state confidence but dont call this a win yet state backers... hoyas shot terrible from outside and rushed a bunch of 3's... but if they do start falling it will fuel there defense... there style is ugly and hard to watch but very effective

GAME #5 BUCKNELL VS NEVADA
look for pack too roll in this one... iu believe that are much too athletic at the forward position and bucknell will be at a big disadvantage ... the pack should spread out bison and there wings can shoot or pass off to crashing guards thru open lanes and easy layups..bison wont be able to contain story similar to mccollum for lehigh( in no way am i saying story is as good as mcollum just similar)... pack and lehigh are actually similar and bucknell has struggled with this dynamic.... pack win dbl digits
