    Fidels Fades - College Hoops
Hi all. Ive been looking for a site like this for some time now. Glad I came across the SBR community. Basketball is my favorite sport to bet and discuss. Mostly college because the game is so much more pure at that level IMO. Looks like pick threads are the thing to do so Id like to give it a shot.

The reason I actually came looking for a site like this today mainly was for this game DETROIT +1 1/2 vs Mil-Greenbay

Ive been watching this Detroit team and I really like them. The record doesnt say much but they recently got their star Eli Holman back and have played good as of late. They beat an ok Butler by 10 or so a few days ago and I dont see them as dogs even on the road at Wisconsin Greenbay, whose record and stats dont tell me anything to differ my thought.

I havent seen anynpdy talking about this. I know its horizon league but this might be an easy cash. DETROIT +1 1/2

Okay 1-1 and back with a new pick!

        Long Beach State -1

After watching a strong come back to beat Cal Poly the other day on the road, i see more of the same tonight @UCSB.
Casper Wells and TJ Robinson are fun to watch and LBS is the best team in the Big West!

Any thoughts? Let's Go! ESPNU 11pm est.

So, my initial plan of this thread was to actually post plays that I'm fading (hence the title). Mostly to destroy the jinx factor of posting winners, and also to be original and get some discussion in my thread. I didnt want it to be confusing though, so I just started posting plays like eveyone else.

Well, 7 posts deep and Im talking to myself. So maybe let's go with the original plan.

2-1 start, lets try to jump that total quicker with 3 fades for today.

More square plays. No jinx. No traps. Big Money! No whammies!

            FADES for 1-22-12:

ILLINI +1.5 Does this need much explanation? Square play, hot Wisconsin vs weak Illini team with an ok big man, coming off a loss to Penn st.- Paul wont even score 10 points. Weber cant coach.

DePAUL +1 One of those teams you love to fade. Great full court press, only if they can score buckets. Too bad they only have one scorer, Melvin, and he hasnt been able to carry the weight against decent teams. Augutus Gilchrest and South Florida coming off big W's vs Seton Hall and St Johns will continue the momentum.

Wisconsin Mil +5 Cleveland St. a good experienced team, especially at home should have no problem covering 5 against a weak road team in Mil-Wisc.

            Let's Go!

BTW.. Casper Ware is fun to watch, not Casper Wells the baseball player.

He scored 14 tonight but wasnt really needed because LBS blew out UCSB by 23

Small fade heat check on deck:

Northern Iowa -10 After getting beat by 15 to NI at home Drake has won 4 straight and NI has dropped 3 of last 4, including an 11 point loss to last place Bradley. I like the momentum here and Rayvonte Rice is the real deal.

                  5-1 Let's Go!
