why is the line like this? are there injury concerns? i would have made this denver on the road -3.5

it seems to be moving the other direction. this would be my play of the day if it was denver -1.5 and i think they win by 9. the line seems 'funny' so this is not my play of the day.

There are no injury concerns that I know of. I think that you're right with the Denver by 9 call. I wouldn't say the line is 'funny', I'd say it's predictable. Denver is a under the radar team, so you won't here Gottlieb or any of those fools talking about them. There are over 50 posted lines tonight, this is a game where the oddsmakers just plug in the numbers, figuring no one really cares. CSU is 10-4, 6-1 at home they lead Denver statistically in fg%, scoring and rebounds, as well they also play at altitude so Denver isn't given that advantage. Also they play in a stronger conference. Having said that all of CSU's numbers are inflated, they have played inferior competition and have yet to play a conference game, once they do those stats and record will quickly go down. My only concern with Denver is they tend to get outrebounded by their opponents and well you could count this as a Rivalry game since it's the same state so CSU might put up a fight.

I actually think it's Colorado State that's under the radar. And I don't believe the oddsmakers ever set a line figuring that no one really cares. Denver might win this, but I think the Rams will give them a good game. No play for me.

good post there man24,

took it a little heavier than i should've but didnt go crazy with it at all. line makes a lot more sense to me down but this denver team has been a goldmine for me all year. it is worth a small play at these odds for sure i guess.

i suppose id overlooked their home record and the fact that it is a quasi-rivalry.

I had them at +3.5. I hate that it lost on a last second free throw but they really were never a good play. They were down more than 4 the whole game and just teased us at the end.
