+200 or higher ML upset pick thread

It happens almost every night in college basketball -- a dog of +5 or higher wins straight up. With so many opportunities on a regular basis to cash on bets like these, I thought I'd start a thread where everyone can place their favorite ML dog bet.

Not really interested in keeping track of records and such (if someone wants to, that'd be great); this is more just to help each other out if someone has an inside angle or even a gut feeling. I thought about this with Iowa yesterday, and realized how many times I've read an accurate upset pick on this board before it happens.

Obviously there will be a lot more swings and misses than hits here, but at the very least, it may give other posters some good + numbers to consider laying side-wise.

Fordham is my pick of the day. They could easily win. UMass is overrated. Fordham just beat Harvard. UMASS barely beat Quinnipiac by 5. So I think Fordham can easily cover 12 1/2. It is worth a look on the moneyline for sure. My site doesn't currently show a ML figure for the game and it is such a big spread, they may not publish one for me to bet. But it is worth a look.

what's your reasoning? i don't like this at all. USF is not a team that wins away from home. 0-4 this year in true road games, another 0-2 on neutral courts

if anything i'd bet villanova ML there. USF might cover but i don't see them winning more than 20% of the time

I would say Depaul over Pitt. These are not the same teams as pas years' reputation. Pitt is not that good, reeling bad on 3 losses. Depaul got beat up by Cuse, but so will a lot of teams. Pitt a 5.5 point road favorite? I don't see it at all. I don't think there's a big difference between these two teams and then with Dep at home. I honestly think Dep should probably be a very small favorite.

Cleveland State isn't the type of team that blows you out, they bore you to death for 40 minutes and slip away with a 4-7 point victory.

Illinois-Chicago matches up here with size & depth albeit inferior talent. However, they are the superior rebounding team and should be able to limit 2nd chance opportunities from Cleveland State while creating their own 2nd chances.

In a slow-paced, half-court game, anything can happen. I think Cleveland State wins by 5 or 6 but there is definitely value here in a +1450 money line. Already on Illinois-Chicago +15.5
