On a lot of those plays myself, aside from Georgia State. I actually like VCU in that game, Georgia State's 1st true road test since November 12. Their numbers are a bit inflated from not having played anybody worth a damn. Why do you like Georgia State here?

lean geo st as well, 8 might be a little much for vcu against a team that protects the rock....not sure how much i can trust geo st numbers as they have played a bad schedule..

I'm a little baffled by that line. Figured Evansville would be +8 or even +7.

I think Georgia State's flying under the radar a little. VCU is the better team, but I like getting that many points (as of now at least).

VCU -7.5 for me, they are hot right now 8 game win streak and back at home for a record setting home sellouts the atmosphere in there is crazy. (I have season tickets). Shaka has those boys on the right track and their defense is electrifying. Georgia state has a horrible schedule strength and that 10-3 record is against nobodys. barring VCU is 11-3 and schedule strength is a little better, we have been closing out games as of late. I see another double digit win on VCU's part tailing away in the second half.

I don't like Dayton tonight. They lost their 2nd leading scorer/rebounder on the team the last game (Benson). Big hole to fill..Taking St, Louis on this one.

IAcceptCash, as a utep supporter, I go to all the games. I honestly feel utep may win this game. Their defense is amazing. Holds teams to low scoring, and on offense they have really good shot selection. This is not an emotional pick. This is watching them for the past 15 years.

like NW myself..illini terrible at defending the 3 (250th in the land) and as we know nw shoots a lot of treys at a pretty strong clip(37.2%).. if the smart kids ever wanna break thru and get in the tourney they need to win games like this against beatable conf opponents at home..

what do you think of NW -2? Seems to easy right? Was it you that said be wary of laying less than 3 with home teams? Feel like line should be -3.5 to -4.5?

is Marshall really that good (I havent seen them play yet), wow? Ive seen UTEP and they have a nice little sqaud, not all world, but they have heart, play D. and can hit some big shots. 11.5 is alot of points, but then again i know nothing about marshall. They cant be 11.5 better than utep right, I mean its marshall

I am thinking about a UTEP bet as well. They only lost by 11 to UNLV in Vegas, and UNLV is way better than Marshall. Thinking about 2-unit play.

utep line def seems high but they have a handful of guys that are banged up, thought i saw they were probable but line continuing to go up makes me think at least a few are not playing...rebounding will more than likely be a huge prob for utep in this gm..

yeah still +12.5 is alot of points for a team that has potential to play great any night. Im thinking it will be a lower scoring game and close. just put another unit on UTEP.

Todays plays:

Xavier -1.5 - 2 units
VCU -7.5 - 1 unit
UTEP +12.5 - 2 units

im lazy bro, someone at another site i go to post a pretty good list from somewhere most days, if not i just look at covers, if there anything of significance on it then i try and do more digging around (sometimes with success sometimes not so much)..

Texas is erratic, but Iowa State is the biggest ADD team I've seen in college basketball so far this year. They are good individual players, but there is no team chemistry there. I don't think Hoiberg is ready to be a head coach. With all that being said, I'm just passing on this game.

Really like Iowa and Marquette -- possibly Temple. Still sort of leaning LaSalle, Tulsa and maybe Dayton. That's it for now. I do like your Illinois State idea.

No play for me, but I'm not impressed with either team. Too many points to lay, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if ND loses by DD.

Everyone thats thinking of betting on the UTEP game. Here is an update... First of all Hooper Vint (C) is out for the Season. Malcome Moore (F) is out for the season... Please note, even before they got injured they werent really in the rotation spare minutes. As for the rest of the players, they are a go for tonight. They are ones who have played against K State and lost 78-70 in Hawaii, Lost to UNLV by 11 in Vegas, Beat Auburn, Beat Clemson. Trust me this team is not the best "looking" team but when it comes to giving themselves a shot to win at the end they will get the job done. Defense is soooo good. Offensive shots are all high quality. Even though were 7-7, Doug Gottlieb, as well as other ESPN analyst say that we (utep) are vastly improved from the beginning of the season. Trust me this is a good pick. Im just deciding how much i wanna put down. Im so tempted to go big.
