Why is VCU only favored by 1 at Akron?

Akron hangs their hat on a season-opening win at Mississippi State, other than that - not much to speak of on their resume other than a string of wins against bad teams and losses against their only competent opponents.

VCU matches up with their size, and should create a lot of fast brake opportunities off of turnovers in this game. I see them pulling away in the 2nd half and winning this one fairly easily.

What gives here?

Was thinking the same thing. I would have to say the public has bet them good this year. Also they have been really good at home for the past few seasons. The line should be the other way around. Just with them being able to match up and VCU coach working under the Akron's head coach im rolling with VCU.
