I'm not sure, the schools are only a few miles away from each other so I'd really take the home/away out of it. Doesnt make sense to me Prov can score and seems to be the better team.
I would think RI covers first half and Providence covers the game, but line is going RI way huge so if thats the way you bet RI would be the call.

Rhode Island is terrible. Not sure how anyone can bet on them in this spot. Maybe if the line was around +10 or so.

"Eight of the nine wins came against teams ranked in the 200s in the RPI, and four of them were against teams in the 300s (Brown, Fairleigh Dickinson, Bryant and Florida A&M). Moreover, Providence didn’t always win pretty, needing a second-half comeback to top Bryant and barely slipping past a down Boston College squad."

URI is equal to or worse than all the teams you mention. PC rolls.

Also, just FYI to those who mentioned it's a road game.. URI is like half an hour down the road from Providence, and it's winter break so nobody in their right mind is anywhere close to Kingston, RI (the boonies).

This game smells fishy. Considering there's no logical reason for a majority of people to think URI would win, and for the line to move quickly from PC -7 to PC -4, and then to have it be this close, makes me wonder...

I think something simple that people fail to see is the teams that are played. Rhode Island has played very good teams which is why they have their bad record. Providence not so much.

I don't know why people are so excited about Providence. Seems pretty noobish to me. Seems like everyone was on them this morning.

this game should not be this close at all... RI shooting .264 form the field. providence isn't making FTs thats why they are hanging on.

Valid point. But I watched URI lose to a shitty BU team and they weren't impressive. I didn't mean to say it's impossible for this game to be close, just curious why so much $ would be on URI that the line moves 3 points.
