Ya, I think cal snapped unlv 19 game home win streak in 08. I have not followed cal at all this year but they have lost there last 5 vs ranked opponents

I will have this as my POD. The pac 12 is awful. Cal hasnt played anyone worth mentioning. UNLV isnt getting enough respect here, i feel like the line is off by about 3.5 points. I see it more like 8.5-9. UNLV plays solid defense, looked good against U of I and UNC. They also have a size advantage over Cal and can see them dominate them boards.

Home court won't be the same with students out on Xmas break, and a 2 pm afternoon start.
But Rebels are the better squad. Had a 'scrimmage' vs La Monroe Monday, so they should be rested and ready. Stanback was ill for the Illinois game, but he scored 29 monday, so he's good to go. Moser's wrist is better so he is close to 100%. 5 looks short. I'll take UNLV

yes sir...i think this is way closer to a pk'em but unlv's good showing against some strong teams has forced this line a little higher than it really should be...dont get me wrong i love this rebel team and have bet them a ton this season but Cal is a much better team than ppl seem to wanna give them credit for...

Cal's leading rebounder Solomon is out with a foot injury and their point guard and 2nd leading scorer Gutierrez has been ill and recovering. I see UNLV having the advantage from every angle except maybe they play at Cal's pace and keep it close.

i knew about Solomon but shit i just saw quite a few guys are "recovering from illness", that could make it a little rough..

Team report has Gutierrez "available" but I am not sure what that means. I am a UNLV fan, but I like the Rebels in this spot.

up to 7.5 now, i saw though the line should have been closer to 8. If you stop Cal on the break, they cant run a half court offense.
