Finkle's NCAA BBall Picks

I've been fiddling around with the stats so far this season and think I have my system ready to test out. I wanted to post them here so I would have an official record. All games are the same number of units for now.


12/22/11 Picks:

Creighton -7
Florida State +9.5
James Madison +2
Missouri -7
South Florida +8.5
Auburn -1.5

I added the lines I used in making the picks. They may be slightly off from what others show at the moment due to timing, book, etc., but shouldn't vary much. Minor line movement of a half or full point won't really matter. The only line sensitive ones today are Auburn and Creighton. If the line swings where they are laying more than a point or so, then it's probably not a play. For official record, I'm using the spread listed above since that is what I put my bet in at. One day the record with the line at the time I posted may have an extra win over the closing lines, and the next day it may be the other way around. Over the long run the winning % of those lines and the closing lines shouldn't vary much. Just wanted to clarify that so nobody accused me of padding my record.

I caught a stomach virus, so I wasn't able to post the picks. On 12/27 my system went 0-4, which put it at 5-8 ytd. I don't have the spreadsheet with the other days with me, but it picked back up. I wasn't able to post them, so not sure what to do about the official record. May just start back from scratch.
