This has been my season progression in this thread to date. I haven't been steady... I'd say I was steady to start, then got hot... majorly cold for 6 days and now heated up again. Its a game of ups and downs as we all know. I do play a lot of plays and that's my style. I used to use a unit assignment of $100-$150 and then as I'd be up I'd raise it to $200 and even at times $250 playing at most 5-10 units at a time. Undisciplined and lost a lot towards the end. Currently, I am using $25/unit and this is a reduction of approx 5-10x of my regular unit w/ a starting BR of $20k. So if using $100/unit you'd now be using $10-15/unit w/ how I've been betting or 0.1% of your BR. I won't be changing my unit size at all and so far.... am happy with the results. Hopefully, I can at least stay warm and get hot at times til the end of this season.


I've never been disciplined before and this is my first season following this reduced unit size and staying within my system. It seems to be working so far and posting here has helped me stick to this system. I am not used to people "tailing" me so all of this is fairly new. Know that lines are much sharper and finding those rare "gems" (10u Plays and at times 20u) are getting tougher.


Understand, that I'm not telling anyone how to bet or set their bankroll. I'm just using this as an example for what I've done and why I am able to play so many plays with so many units. I had a decent BankRoll (BR) to start NCAAF and now in NCAAB. Make sure you can weather any cold streaks me or any capper will have (even your own capping).


Only reason I stated this.... is that I want people to know what they are getting into when tailing. We all hate to lose but I would hate to lose knowing others are losing while following my picks. There will be some days where I just don't have the time to research and I may just choose to not post rather than doing "hasty" picks. I'm married and have a full time job w/ a family. With that said... Happy Holidays everyone and let's make that paper to finish this year and also throughout the next!

i agree with what you say....everyone has their own style etc, methodology. I see alot of people that make these whacky 50-100 unit plays now and then hoping to hit and break even unit wise...I never understood it or believed it to tell you the truth. If your usual unit play is 25 bucks...I doubt most on this forum would be doing a 10 unit...in addition to all the other plays...most don't have a 2k bankroll, let alone 20! Keep up the good work. I am watching closely

Even if you had a BR of $1k. Reduced unit size would put you at $1/unit or $2/u if want. Would place you at a current BR of $1360 (from start of season). Or cherry picking 10u plays using $10/unit would put u at around +$2700.

Looking good! Just one thing, you should add a line for UNITS on the bottom. It is necessary for ML sports like NHL and MLB and some guys including me have occasional MLs in hoops/foots.

Actually, spreadsheet creates extra work on busy days with lots of plays. Right now, it takes seconds to just cut and paste a 15-play CBB card either into this thread or into PM. Having to then re-enter all those plays into spreadsheet would take up too much time on a busy day. Thoughts?

I wouldn't mind doing it myself, if I have the time. What I would be worried about is if I am on the road. Not sure if using my mobile will get it done. Or even if it'll be fast enough. Especially on 2H lines. I have to watch for the line. Put my bet in. Post it on my own thread and then work out that spreadsheet. By then, depending what I am doing and where I am at, the 2H may have started. On my mobile, I know at times its hard to just get it posted in my own thread.

Not complaining but - I will be posting approx 30% less. Just the way it is. Already takes time to post in my threads...and for what? Also will be traveling most of the day tomorrow so likely will not post anything. This stuff just takes time and life seems to never slow up - lol
