Temple @ Rice

Temple has played 7/9 on the road, including Tex, Vill, Pur, and a win at Wich St while Rice has seemingly played the sisters of the poor 6/8 at home.

Our resident experts seem split. Ayo, Buck, Hat on Temp -5 or so. LT and 55's on Rice.

Thoughts please?

Actually Temple has only played four true road games. They beat the worst team they played on the road (Toledo) and lost to the best (Texas),so let's toss those for now. In the other road games, they struggled against Penn and lost to a Bowling Green team ranked 174th by Pomeroy. But I think the most telling stat is Temple ranks 268th in two-point defense (51.5%) and Rice ranks 83rd in two-point offense (50.7%). All that said, I liked +5, not +3.

temple is by far the better team..top 20 Im showing... Rice is middle of the road... BUT temple Center is out..that is enough for me to pass and the public to jump all over Rice...

Temple will go small and out-talent Rice in an up-tempo game ... Temple -3? .. easy ... Over 140.5? (got it earlier) .. very easy

Looks like they got out-athletized vs a young Texas team and definitely need an inside presence. I think I understand who Temple is just not sure about Rice who on paper looks mediocre. Hate when I haven't visually seen a team.
