3 short road faves that look like slam dunks Monday
Creighton -3 at Tulsa Cleveland State -1.5 at South Florida Southern Miss -1.5 at Arizona State

Also, what's with TCU being +7 at USC?
Some weird lines on Monday. Are these more freebies given to us by oddsmakers, or will the worm begin to turn?

I like creighton and love TCU. USC is garbage, and no fans go to the games at home anyway.

just the way this team typically is, when they short favs or dogs usually a solid play but once you get into laying 6 or more better to fade or stay away.. obviously isnt set in stone but you def be way better off with this team if you avoid them as decent size favs and above..

I like Denver. Not sure on the others, though SIU being favored by that many points seems about as absurd as USC being favored by that many points. Under normal circumstances, I'd say that line is high for a reason, but college basketball's been a free-money free-for-all with these weird lines so far this year.

Not on those necessarily. In fact, I think a lot of them are traps -- just trying to figure out which.

Weird too, but not as much in that I don't think they're necessarily far superior teams. Yet I do agree in that 95% plus of the public so far is on both of those road faves.
Cleveland State (98% of bets in so far) is much better than South Florida.
Creighton (97%) is much better than Tulsa.
Southern Miss. (91%) is much better than Arizona State.

But why? Seriously, +8 to a garbage USC team? TCU isn't a world-beater, but they did win at Virginia didn't they?
Only thing I can figure is that Vegas is so reliant on KenPom's prediction numbers and he's been off this year. I've never seen such shitty/soft college basketball lines for such a long period of time to open a season -- public has just gobbled them up.

pretty sure tcu/uva was a neutral site gm..still it takes 10 min for usc to score 7 points so not sure why they should cover this.. i passed on uga cause i didnt get it, not sure if i pass again or not..

Didn't TCU beat USC by 20 last year?
All of those games look too easy.

The only thing that scares me about taking TCU is how high the line is. I would like TCU more if USC was like -4.

Louisiana-Monroe +28 at UNLV?
Look at ULM's scores this year and tell me if that makes any sense.

I know, I was all over that +29 last night. Is Vegas buttering us up for something? Does the tide start to turn tomorrow?

TCU struggles on the road. Hard to win at South Florida for whatever reason, Creighton aint really all that, Tulsa aint gonna go away easy.

Thats not true at all. TCU has played two road games:
They won @ Houston 81-80
They won @ Evansville 70-68

Im talking historically and they scraped by in those games, besides a good record they aint that good, Ive seen them, they play to the level of their competition. Their playing a perhaps a slightly higher rated SoCal team so no need to wonder why they are getting 7.

Ive seen USC they play a slow pace and suck and the line is set to get close to balanced wagers, besides, its clear why the line opened at 7.
