    TZMoney NCAA Picks 2012
I am killing college basketball this year and while I'm primarily a baseball capper, I'm starting this forum to keep track of my picks and to hear your feedback. This keeps me honest about my money management, record and hopefully help us make some $$$.

    Today's Plays:

Oral Roberts vs. *4 on Little Rock +9 (-130)

This little rock team matches up very well in size to Oral Roberts. Playing at home is a definite advantage seeing that they have kept most apponents from scoring giving up an average of 66.4 ppg. Oral Roberts has found no success on the road, 0-2 while Little Rock is 3-3. Both coaches know these teams well seeing that they average a 11 year tenure.

ARKLR are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall.

    UALR-ORU SERIES
    The Series: UALR leads 3-1
    Streak: UALR - won 1
Last Meeting: UALR 52, Oral Roberts 49 (Las Vegas, Nev. / Dec. 22, 2010)

    Fordham vs. *4 on Siena -7 (-130)

Fordham is just 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 road games and is giving up an averge of 75.8 points during away games. Siena is a faster apponent who relies on quick transition basketball. While Fordham's Ryan Canty is 6'9 and matches up well against O.D. Anosike at 6'8" the numbers don't lie. Anosike is averaging 9 more rebounds and 11 points more per game. Also look for Siena Guard Owen Wignot to shut down Bryan Smith. While the 1st half might be close, Siena will make adjustments and take advantage of the 41.5 point average that Fordham is giving up in the second half. Fordham is shooting an abysmal 53% from the charity stripe in the last 5 games. Roll on with Siena -7 and get this line now before it goes up.

I see the Siena line at -7.5 at my book. You can buy a half point to -7 at -120. Which makes me a little suspicious about the play because its a reverse line movement with about 69% of the public money on Siena.

Some good cappers here like LT Prophets are on the Fordham side. There are not many games on the card today, so is this the best use of bankroll...maybe not. We'll see where the line goes before I hedge. I still think Siena win's outright, but the books look like they're willing to take more $$$ on Siena. Could be a closer game than I originally capped.

I've been looking for a couple of other opinions, found a lot of mixed reviews. I can't ignore how pathetic Fordham has shot recently and given they have played an easy schedule...

Fordham has played four road games this season and lost by an average of 22-points.

This will be the Rams third straight game on the road, and fourth game in eight days. In their last two games they lost 47-81 at Manhattan and 65-80 at Monmouth. They haven't shot better than 36% in each of their last three games, and are shooting just 37% on the season.

1-1 should have known the Sienna play was a square play especially with the line movement.

I took a late 2 unit play on Oregon -12 against Portland. Portland is only shooting 17% from behind 3pt territory. If Oregon stays out of foul trouble they will win easily.

1-2 start, not the big splash I hoped for after an 8-1 weekend, but at least it's not an 0-3 day. Posts coming for tonight's games this evening.

Florida Atlantic vs. (16) Mississippi State -13 *5

The 16th ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs (6-4 ATS) are way too talented for the FAU Owls who are bringing a 1-4 away record to this contest. Despite being 4-3 against the spread, the Owls are undersized given their 3 guard starting lineup. They will get frustrated and foul and that's going to play into the 70.8% free throw percentage that the Bulldogs will take advantage of. The Dogs are shooting 53.6% from the field and an even 40% from 3point land. This is a revengful blowout in favor of the Bulldogs.

ICE ICE BABY! Another loss on what seemed to be a lock midway through the game. The ref's started calling a lot of tick tack fouls and took the post game away from MISS ST. that in turn made the outside shooting easier to cover and ineffective.

              Today's Play: 5* UTEP +19 (-130) vs. UNLV

              1-3 Record so far...
