Linesmakers want you to think this game is a toss up but one team is the better basketball squad here, and that is the Memphis Tigers. Neither team has great rebounders so as far as edges go I am looking at the team that can shoot better here to win, and thats Memphis.
Lets look at some of those shooting stats:
-13th in the nation in 3pt% against Miami which is 106th
-15th in the nation effective FG%, Miami is 216th
-44th in the nation 2pt%, Miami is 290th
Obviously other factors come in to play in a basketball game but I see a sharp edge here in terms of two teams who don't rely on a strong inside game, I am taking the team with the better shooters. Memphis by 4-8.
Also a strong lean on the over I am seeing about 146-150 points here.
