Elon was the obvious public play last night and cashed fairly easily. If I'm wrong here, I won't be kicking myself...every angle I've looked at tells me to take Marquette in this spot.

Huskies have all of that.

Unfortunately, they also have a penchant for playing out of control and on their fast-breaks they are just as likely to turn the ball over as they are to score. It's not a good sign when your guards have 14 out of the 18 turnovers... most if them unforced.

Washington's athleticism and height, especially in the backcourt are my only real concerns. They have a lot of success when pushing the tempo. But they can be lazy defensively, and will make plenty of mental errors, which Marquette will surely take advantage of. Marquette does struggle with perimeter D at times, so if UW can knock down some 3's, which they are very capable of, they could hang around in the 1st Half, until Marquette's deeper bench wears them down.

They ARE inexperienced. Their top two scorers are Sophomores, and the third; a turnover and foul prone Freshman, who is the only non-starter to see significant minutes.

They got a ton of talent, and two future NBA players in Ross and Wroten, but they are not a disciplined team. DJO vs Ross is a great matchup. Look for TRoss to be a lottery pick next year in the NBA.
