Arkansas State +4 now. I worked on this thing last year based off the Ken Pomeroy ratings where you take a dog of +5 or more that is much better defensively. It hit really well but the rankings were more solid because I didn't get it rolling til more than halfway thru the season. Still this one is interesting.

good play. Arkansas State is well coached under Brady, while APSU has had the same coach since I was born (1990!!!!). The guy is simply an average coach at best, while Brady is an above average coach. APSU has plenty of talent with Edmonson and some other guys, but they don't play very smart basketball. I was hoping for more than 3.5 so I waited overnight. Hoping I can get this line around 5 or so

Now I am curious why RAS likes the Peay. I mean I get that Austin Peay's schedule is rated 18th, but by the same token, they also lost to Lipscomb and Bowling Green. Ark State just beat a Pomeroy Top 100 team on the road and they rank a good 68th in defensive efficiency.

more individual talent on APSU, but thinking they have chemistry problems from my talks with somebody close to the program (live an hour from campus). If they put it together, they COULD run Arky State out of the gym but I have no reason to think that happens tonight

a lot of people seem to be on ark st today, kind of reminds me of the baylor matchup yesterday where they should be about -3 instead. But teams like peay and long beach state are gonna keep on getting juiced because of their ridiculous schedule i guess.

Btw lt, what do you think about the flo st game? no one seems to talk about them, 18.5 is way too much imo against a good shoont CSU. I know flo is the better school, more athletic, better on d. but 18.5??????

Kinda think Peay covers, everybody knows Peay's record, if the Oddsmaker thought Ark. St. was more than likely to win this then the number would be closer to, I think they want you on Ark. St. for this game.
