UNLV has just played the best team in the ACC, Big West, and now is playing its third consecutive game away from home @ Witchita St. I do not like this spot for UNLV, as its after an emotional double OT win on the road. Also I think the venue, and travel will catch up with them here.

    Took Witchita -2.

Ralphie do not fade me bro. Lol hell I do not give a fuk.

Just goes to show how little rankings matter in real life. Hate to take Wichita but it looks like they may be the play?

Im not surprised but i am surprised . And I do highly agree with you man that travel and dramatic win might catch up with them they are going into one of the most hostile environments you can go into. This aint UCSB court this is a court that is going to shock the **** outta the rebels . I love both teams though but my lean would be SHOCKERS

always seems like a good play to take an unranked favorite over a ranked dog... anyone have ats record for these type of games? or point in the right direction to find it

I go to UNLV. I would avoid this game entirely. Wichita may be a slightly better play but I think its honestly a 50/50 type of game taking all factors into account

If you think Wichita State is bad you really dont know enough to give your opinion out.

The MVC plays a certain type of ball. It works, and the kids stay in the program for 4 years. (butler isnt in the MVC) but look at Butler last year. They were far less talented then just about every team they beat in March.

To me this game is either WSU or no play. How often do you get a gift wrapped play on the road against a solid team? (the answer is not often). I fell for this type of play last year when I started to actually examine games instead of go off my "basketball knowledge"

                  CollegeOverUnder,

The home court of the Gauchos at UCSB is historically pretty intimidating. Students right on top of the court, small and loud. The "Thunderdome"

Not many teams come into Koch Arena and win. Hell, UNLV could barely do it at UCSB

This was a situational play. UNLV's schedule caught up with them here. Travel/number of games in the last two weeks, and not enough time to prepare for this game.

They are good, and a top 5 team on the West coast.

Wichita State has a lot of good players and their coach knows what he is doing. He gets many of his kids from th JUCO ranks. I heard his recruiting class next year will be the best the school has seen.
