I know I should just let silly statements go in one ear and out the other. But I feel if people are allowed to make silly statements and arent told how silly they are, then they will keep doing it, and I'd be doing a dis-service to them.

With that in mind I'd like to point out that this is some of the oddest logic I've ever heard for betting a game. You're betting Cincy as a favorite against georgia in basketball because everyone at georgia is too focused on the football game?

From the site I check I've seen a HUGE percentage of people betting cincy so the line movement makes sense. i just don't get what all these people have seen Cincy do THIS YEAR that makes them like this bet

cashmere wright is a guard..a protypical nyc point...cant really shoot but can run an offense, penetrate and create some O. Kilpatrick is talented as hell, but sometimes doesnt bring his game.

i would be huge on this game for uc, but last game against miami they needed there backup center from africa whose name slkafj;kasf had to score 2 huge buckets for them. I dont want money on a team thats depending on a defensive minded juco transfer from africa that nobody can pronouce his name.

Marshall may be decent....but a hell of a team??? They certainly arent good enough that Cincy should lose to them at home and then be favored on the road against Georgia IMO

I have marshall as a 20+ win and an outside shot at the reg. conference usa title and an average shot at the c-usa tourny and even if they dont win i see them squeezing in as an at large big. Maybe a hell of a team is too strong, but there a very strong and dangerous team. watch against syracuse.

Uc is to dumb to even memorize their schedule. Don't worry about them looking ahead.

Two thoughts:

1. Sometimes not-very-good teams score a lot of points against each other.

2. Mark Fox is a very good coach. He does not have a great team at Georgia this year, but his team will play very competitively when they are not completely outmatched (like they were at Xavier and versus Cal).

If I had to place a bet on this game, I'd probably take Cinci, on account of the line movement. But I don't see any value in it. I think there is better on the board (I like Washington today at Nevada).

Ive heard a lot of people say they are taking cincy cause they have the better players.....more power to you if it works, but to me there's a lot more that goes into deciding who's going to win a game on any given night than who has the most talent.

i think and hope cinci rolls but i understand the line.

All over Cincy, I haven't always followed them, but my non-researched observation seems to be that they actually are a better team on the road than at home. I do know that their fanbase is terrible and they often play in front of only about 4 or 5 thousand people there at 5/3 arena.

they need to make some offensive corrections at halftime. uga is having an average half but the bearcats are on pace to score 42 for the full game. that wont even beat presbyterian.

Ugly game so far. Cincy still has a shot if they can pick it up in the 2nd half. Georgia isn't so hot either and their mistakes are keeping it as close as it is.
