Mixed bag with my leans. Eastern Washington looked amazing AGAIN and La Salle also covered. Sac State looked awful however and ND probably isn't covering. Overall though, great day to close out November

They were up 1 with around 10 minutes left and just completely fell apart. I would make that play again. MSU shot the ball great, while FSU shot it like shit (which isn't abnormal really)

Great day but horrific logic. You don't win or cover playing well for 3/4 of a game in any sport.
Besides the last 10 minutes are where homecourt advantage really kicks in. Every shoot a bball at 19 years old with 12k strangers yelling at you and someone in your grill with their hand up?

shooting the basketball wasn't the issue. Stupid knucklehead plays that aren't common with FSU were the problem. The poor shooting hurt, but bad defense for about 3-4 minutes is what killed me. Again, very uncharacteristic of FSU so not going to blame myself for that one. Anybody that watched knew this game would come down to the wire, but FSU blew it unfortunately. It happens

Didn't MSU win by double digits?

I watched the game -- MSU was superior in nearly every facet. Appling was the best player on the court and it wasn't close.

yeah they won by double digits, but that wasn't the point. For around 33-34 minutes, this game was nip and tuck. Michigan State hit another gear offensively and FSU imploded. Appling certainly played the best game, but they only had to cover 7 or so.

Not really. MSU led 30-18 at one point. This game got close at times, but MSU was never seriously threatened down the stretches of either half.

I'm just saying you can't really complain about FSU when Wisconsin wasn't the easiest cover in the world. Then again, I just lost on UNCW +1.5 (lost by 2 after controlling the game), SD State (blew a 17-point lead on their home court) and CSB (lost in double OT) somehow in the same night, so maybe I'm just pissed off.

Wisconsin was pretty easy. They trailers by more thsn 8 for less than 2 minutes

They were down 8 at the under 4 timeout. Tell me you weren't sweating a little at that point.

I was on the Badgers too, but that was far from a slam dunk.
